Yeah, might get myself a 100w burner and a 15amp psu, most people in my area have got these, simply because they are sick of the tossers playing music on the rig at 2 in the morning. Doesnt matter how much you ignore the muppets, they still follow you through-out the 80 channels.

I think that switch changes the rig to the other 40 channels, thats what the fm/am switch does on mine.

Im looking for an up to date book on all things cb and amateur, a book that explains the differance between cb and amateur, a book that pretty much explains whats what, whats 10m radio?, whats ham?, what equipment is needed for what?, different frequencies?, i think you get my drift.

yeah, in the early 80s a few lads in my area had am rigs, we could hear them on our televisions, i think the neighbours knew exactly who they were, reported them, and voila :lol:

Was on the rig the other night, it was great, a few people on and we were having great convo, i was back-walling everyone with my antron, and then on comes a muppet playing music, he was back-walling me and everybody else, the breakers started thinking it ...

Yeah, im the same, theres a few clicky groups on the rig in my area, but they just talk the same old same old, and theres a few charva/smack heads that just swear and say im going to find this person and that person and do them in :shock: :lol:

It be good if a few friends with similar interests ...

I would put one up on the roof, doesn't seem like you have any other option, if the landlord complains then unlucky, but i doubt he will even notice.
